Ive always gotten emails about how they're gonna send me money orders to purchase my item, but Ive never gotten a paypal email before...

that is a scam....do the deal but ship them a empty box. that way if they cancel on you they only geta box with doo-doo in it

they sometimes send a fake email that looks like a payment from paypal and hope you never log in and actually check it but just ship anyway. It sometimes says that they are holding payment until you ship like what paypal does do but it is a completely fake email.

what they do is once they get your email, they send you an email that looks just like the confirmation email you'd get from paypal saying the money has been sent to you.

then, you log in from their fake link, and they now have your log in to do what they want!

even craigslist tells you to only deal locally to AVOID SCAMS. don't do it.

first time i dealt with a nigerian scammer selling my nokia 6630 i said i would go along with it as soon as i got an email from paypal. 10 minutes later got an email from serviceatpaypal@somerandomassaddress.com saying he made payment, but i wouldnt see it in my account until i shipped. it did look exactly like a official paypal email though.

oh.. and he was a prince too!
