Passport: 8500 vs. 9500

the 8500 and 9500 are the exact same detector, the only thing your paying for with the 9500 is the extra features //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif my 8500 has never done me wrong //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Don't buy a radar detector ugh. I hate when people say, "Oh I can speed all I want I have a RADAR DETECTOR!" Yes you can detect when cops are detecting you!! Congrats, it doesn't prevent it. If you want protection buy a unit that actually deflects radar bands =/

And you would be looking at some pretty hefty fines and possible jail time if caught using radar jammer. Radar bands are governed by the FCC, so messing with those frequencies would be considered a federal offense (can you say FELONY). The only band you can legally jam is laser. Laser is governed by the FDA and not the FCC.
