so i have a job interview with Fry's Electronics tomorrow...

for those of you who don't have a fry's around you, its basically the walmart of electronics.

i applied to work in the car stereo section (of course) and i'm not really sure what to expect. my last 2 interviews were really informal and basically just told me when i'd start working.

does/has anyone worked at fry's before? is it cool? not so much? what is the avg pay there?

they told me to come dressed in black slacks, a white button-down, and a tie, which is what all the people who work there wear, so i'm hoping that's a good sign.

i work at frys,

starting is at $8,

got promoted twice and now am a salesman earning minimum + commission.

just show your boss that you are working hard. you will get promoted

$8 isn't bad... this is just a summer job, i have to go back to school in the fall, but hopefully i won't have to tell them that. one of my friends told me starting pay was $10 + commission... man did that get my hopes up haha

gl some ppl have major issues thinking they are the boss when they work in the same dpt as u and make same pay. only thing is they have been there longer.
