Parts for Eclipse 5444

How hard is it to get a replacement trim ring and memory stick for an Eclipse CD5444? Is the Memory stick proprietary, or is it just SD or Compact Flash or something that I can get off Newegg? I would assume that the trim ring is interchangeable with new model trim rings since they are the same size, if that is not the case I would like to know.

After doing a little research, I decided that the trim ring could be replaced easily enough, and I didn't care enough about the memory stick for it to matter. I managed to get a CD5444 for $175, and I couldn't see myself getting nearly so nice a deck in that price range if I passed up that one.

If anybody has info on what type of media that memory stick is, however, I would still like to know...

The memory stick that originally came with my CD8454 was a Sony. I bought a 128mb SanDisk brand one off NewEgg and it worked fine. Make sure it's the regular memory stick, no pro/duo. Also the largest size the Eclipse will recognize is 128mb, so don't buy any larger.

As long as it's a regular Memory Stick... it will work fine.
