parts express sound dampening material

Those sheets that are plastic or whatever don't do a good job.

Dynamatt is the most expensive crap you can buy. RAAMatt is cheaper and better. Second Skin is better too.

I'd definitely avoid the asphalt - very similar to Dynamat Original. If I wanted to use vinyl, I'd look at Cascade's products for comparison.

I love Parts Express, but anyone selling this stuff should know they are selling damping, not dampening products.
