Parts Express Amps

I'm in line to purchase an amplifier, if all goes well sometime in early April.

The amp is going to be powering a set of 6.5" Arc Audio components. I would like the amp to be 125 x 4 @ 4 ohms and bridgeable to ??? x 2 @ 4 ohms as well.

Are amps that you would find at Parts Express good quality?

Like the following:

Or would it best to bite the bullet and spend twice as much on a similar JL Audio model.

(I would also include MA Audio on that list, Parts Express sold those in their catalog as well and are priced just like those I posted above)

Bite the bullet, The JL might have similar ratings as far a wattage, but I assure you that the Jl will be more powerful, and cleaner.

You don't necessarily need to spend the cash on a JL, but I would go for a little better amps than what PE carries for car audio products. I really wish they'd start carrying better brands //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

As of today, at 1PM I will be ordering a JL 300/2 early April. (This could change a thousand times though. HAHA)

This audio equipment thing is a long term investment anyway. Something I keep trying to tell myself.

Squeak is right. You don't need to over pay for a JL amp and MTX's bottom of the line amps are NOTHING compared to their higher product lines.
