u no the sliding rear windows in the back of trucks? well someone while i was at school broke in threw there an took my 130 dollar pioneer 6x9's they were under the seat, so they must really been lookin for stuff to find them there. An the amp that was pushin th e6x9's an 200w crunch amp. the person that stole it must not have knew ne thing about car steros cause he stole an 100 dollar amp when ihad an 220 dollar amp sittin right next to it an the reason he didnt steal my subs must have been that they couldnt get the box out cause its so big. The total lost of money was only 250 dollars so its no tthe lost of money that gets my mad its just the fact that someone would breakin into my truck an steal my sh!t....if ne one one else has ne stories of there system being stolen i woul dlike to hear it...............//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif

I wonder when they will mass produce those car alarms with those shockers (not the sub //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif but where it shocks you, like in those futuristic movies? Who knows

go to africa and you can find crazy alarms that will permanantly injure someone if they break into your car (or try). car theft in africa is a big issue.

Yeah i think thats pretty gay why dont they make like a alarm in the sysem where somebody trying t steal it. it turns the sytem on and says back away from the system lol or it would like call the cops LMAO:(

Being a HS kid at the time and having my first stereo stolen, I know exactly why it happened. I loved the bass, played it loud even around school, and I would talk with people about what I'd put in, if someone wanted to see, I'd pop the trunk open afterschool like it was nothing. Stupid, really.

Luckily, they only got a 250 w max jensen amp, 350 printed cone pioneer 10" in a best buy bandpass box, and the panasonic "cheapest with an RCA output" HU. It allowed me to correct my mistakes.

Nowadays, it only plays loud on the freeways or major roads, and everything I install gets put behind a lock of some sort. Rear seats have their own car key lock but the amps are screwed down with torx screws as well. Box is held in with big yellow rubber coated chains attached to thick steel eyebolts in the box... and I put that think far in the back of the trunk so that there's no slack to pull things out. Different types of screws (hex key and a few phillips head) attach the sub.

Someone at your school really had a hard on for you to be taking just one set of 6x9 and the amp that can power them well.

yea i no but i belive it was this kid he always walks around the parkin lot at school an he has stolen one of my friends dvd players out of his car .But i think he broke in an all he could carry was one amp an the 6x9's cause my sub box is huge an my sub amp is bolted to some sheet metal all i no is i took what was left of my system out an im gonna sell it an im gonna invest in sum 12" ek's an a jbl 1200.1 an sum new highs an im gonna freakin chain them to my truck if i have to!

Not to be mean or to flame but you really have nothing to be upset about. If you were really showing off like you said you were then you should of seen it coming. I bet your probably one of those people with the giant car audio banner across your window. Those things practically advertise your stuff to be stolen. Hell I wouldn't be suprised if they threw your stuff in the trash after stealing just to show you a lesson.

?? I'm the only one that has said anything about showing off in this thread. Is that directed at me ? FWIW, no audio banners on my car, ever.... it was an 85 Jetta and my stuff was stolen in 96 or 97.

Despite your original sentence, your post does build into a flame, especially when you start to suggest what type of person they are.

[EDIT-Response] What can I say, I was a kid, I'd put more money into that system than anything else I'd bought. Was it stupid to show off ? Maybe. Did I want to share it with my friends whom I tend to see more at school than anything else, yess.

I guess the lack of anything in your sig tells us how on the dl you are about your car audio.

It just pisses me off when people can't get enough enjoyment out of just listening to their stereo, they have to show it off at school. The thing that makes me more mad is when people show off their stereo and it actually *****. They will have that look on their face like "hahaha check it out guys isn't it gnarly" even though it's the biggest heap of junk you have ever seen.

there is always some stupid people who think that if their dady doesnt buy them stuff than they have to steal it from us who live and dream car audio. and work our asses off to afford all of our stuff...i do it one thing at a time..when i have $ for what i want...i had my whole system before i bought my car...so that when i got a car i could take it and have my alarm put in it..and that is what i did...i have had people attempt to steal my stuff in the middle of the night and thanks to my alarm they were unsuccessful....

Part of the first system I had was stolen out of my front yard one night. I had an 86' Mazda pickup with 2 MTX Thunder 5000 10's and a 325 watt MTX amp, with a Pioneer cd player that I had got 4 days before, and the b@stard ripped it out, breaking the mounting bracket that holds it in and stole my amp, he also stole 48 cd's out of my brothers s-10, and some sunglasses out of my dads work truck. A couple weeks later, one of my friends dad that lives in my neighborhood called and said a boy next door to him was installing a stereo in his car. So me and my dad went over there and asked him about it, and he said he bought it from the flea market (BS). So we got the cops over there and I knew it was mine because it had a scratch on the trim and I still had the box with the serial number. But all the cop did was make him give me the cd player back, he wouldnt even look for the amp. Then, when I went to put the cd player back, it wouldnt work. When he pulled it out, he messed up the wires.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif (He would've been screwed).//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif
