Parking Brake bypass??

I was wondering if anyone here knows how to bypass the parking brake wiring on an in-dash DVD system so that the parking brake doesn't need to be pulled for the monitor to work. Any help at all would be awesome!

I believe you just ground the wire that is supposed to connect to the parking break...

yeah just ground is to a differnt ground source... if its an alpine.. then theirs a few other things youll have to do.. but my pioneer.. i just grounded the EBrake ground w/ the normal ground...

i have the alpine cva-1003. does anyone know how to bypass it? do i ground both the hand brake wire and brake pedal wire? thanks for any info or help.

No problem. It just clutters up the boards, and as you can tell it's pretty easy to get an answer in any forum.
