Panasonic HU?

Im currently hooking a Panasonic CQ-DFX701U up in my Rodeo. There is a brown wire with a white stipe coming from the radio but there isnt one on the harness from the vehicle. Is that wire supposed to go to the dimmer wire from the car?

check the manual itll have a chart, if u dont have one i can dig my manual up tomarrow for you

I bought it used so I dont have the manual. I hooked all the other wires up and connected it to the car and turned it all on... Evrything is working but Im not getting any sound. I hooked my other Panasonic up and it works fine. Any ideas?
