Have a LMS Ultra in my truck currently. Want to add another. I am Bi amping sub now with a pair of JL 1000/1's. Want to purchase a pair of 2000-2500 rms at 1ohm amps. Budget is 1000$ What would yall suggest? Looking at DC 2k hard. I realize I will need to add some batts for sure. I built a T line for my Ultra, Loved the sound and INCREDIBLE output, just not waqnting to sacrifice space my enormous box took. Was more of a challenge for myself. I built a sealed 4.5 cube enclosure before dis and I am digging the sound. Just want more! Thanks for suggestions.

Port it.. You'll get your incredible output back without the box getting ridiculously huge. These things like smal ported enclosures, just need a big port. Since space is an issue I'd do aero's to keep the box size to a minimum.

On the TC web site it says for a small ported, 3.1 feet with 36.5 inches of port and port being 4x4. Does this mean i can build me a3.1 box after sub and port, i understand that, but as long as my port is 16"of area and 36.5"long then my tuning will be at 30according to there specs? I want to ask how that will equate to aeros but i will search first.

Ok, Have searched and learned a lot about the aeros. I just happen to have some 7.5 inch inside dia fiberglass pipe here at the house. It seems that 6-8 inch is preferred for an 18" sub. Gonna stick with this unless I learn different. I do enjoy box building, perfect cuts, squared and assembled with care and attention to detail, routing all my edges afterwards. Digging it! Gonna try and sneak a round port in my sealed box in the next day or two.
