painting dash and door pieces

tomorrow i am going to go get some supplies to do some of these pieces to match my exterior . besides the intitial paint and adhesion promotor what are some other things i will need ? like for the sanding and everything and what is the best stuff i can use to clean the pieces because they have quite a bit of armor all on them ,thanks for the help

use brake cleaner to clean the panels if they are oily from dressing. You will also need filler primer

okay i got some duplicolor burgundy interior vinyl paint and duplicolor adhesion promotor and some kryon clear coat , do i HAVE to have filler primer since i am using the adhesion promotor ?

depends if you want it smooth or if you want to keep the texture. purpose of primer is to fill the texture.

go to fiberglassforums.com ... go to the interior part , then go to a sticky thread painting plastics and that is a nice step by step , worked great for me

When i paint mine i use, dish washer soap, is really nice with oils and grease. I have my int paint for almost six month and still like even in the door handles area where is used a lot.

I use a prism efect spray, i dont remember the brand but as soon as i arrive to my country i'll put the full name of the product
