Painting an amplifier

I have a Sundown SAZ 1500d that has many scratches on the top surface that I would like to fix as I am selling the amp. Is there a recommendation on how/what to use to clean this up or is it recommended to sell as is with all the scratches?

Just sell it with the scratches. Unless you’re a professional painter you’ll probably make it look worse.

Make sure everything is taped off well that you don't want paint on like end plates or logo...and you can plastidip it ..I had a friend that used plastidip on his amps and they came out very nice ..he matched the color to his car ....the good thing about plastidip is if it dont look right to you or you mess up ...you have the option of peeling it off and trying it again.... just make sure amp is very clean and dust free ..id use a tac cloth ...
