Alright my front bumper needs some work. The paint is peeling, but I'm not going to spend $200. for a top of the line job. Is it possible to get the paint code for the color of your car and had it made at something like lowes or no?
Not really, if u take ur time. Pre work is the most important part to a good paint job. Your gonna need alot of sand paper from 80-1,600 grit. Gonna need primer, than the paint (acrylic or base + clear) some tack rags, masking tape/paper and alot of time. IF your just doing touch up u probably wont need primer. If ur fixing small bumps and dings ur gonna need a good body filler too.Unless you don't care how your car looks, I'd suggest getting a professional job done. You'll regret it in the future if you don't. There's really no shortcut to a good professional paintjob that will last. And don't go to Maaco =X
