pac c2r-gm24 causing engine whine?

I replaced my factory stereo in my silverado. it has Bose so i used the PAC c2r-gm24 to wire it up. it was simple and worked good till i started the truck. I have a very faint engine whine. and it was really bad when i tried to add and eq. I removed the eq and started checking everything. It looks like the rca's from the pac unit are the problem. If i wiggle the plug alittle i can get the noise to stop. Has anyone had this problem?

Try a good grade of rcas,I use Street wire Zero noise.Alot of rcas that come with a kit, are not very good grade.Check for a solid ground also for your addition as well.

the rca's come directly out of the harness and into the stereo. they are only like 4-6" long. i tried an additional ground from the back of the stereo and no luck. i was thinking of grounding the rca's to the stereo next.
