I just recently bought a decent size PA for me and my band to jam with in my basement. Called the Peavey Escort. Cheapest I could find it anywhere was 650.00 before tax but the two speakers fld down over the board it comes with and you can fit mics and cables inside so literally everything but the stands are all in one small package.

Dunno if that's considered cheap to you or not. Thing gets decently loud, we dont have to strain to hear our singer anymore. I couldn't find anything not new that included speakers, stands, board and extra mic for cheaper unless it was a piece of crap.

That's the 2000 series, I beleive the one we bought is the 3000 series. I'm not sure of the differences though

I'm talking about like car PA systems. What is the real term for it? I can never figure it out. Just a Loudspeaker connected to a mic for a car.
