Can the BAMF run at .5 ohm daily if not what are some other low price options to run at .5 ohm. Trying to get around 1500-2000 watts at .5 or 2ohm for daily.

I didnt think you could run the HiFonics amps at .5 ohm but i talked to a couple people that have them they said they run at .5 fine

Depends. If you have the electrical system to back it up, it will most likely be fine. I'd rather run @ 2ohms, though. Easier on your electrical, less heat, etc. Better SQ, too, but that's VERY subjective and I'm likely to get flamed for saying that.

Im not gonna count on "box rise" to save my *** when it comes to running an average amp. I wouldnt even consider it with PA, and Hifonics I MIGHT consider with the stoutest of electrical, but even then, I dont feel comfortable doing it.

my bamf 5500 burns me after a an hour of playin at 2 ohm, it would FRY at .5!

Power Acoustics at .5 ohm? Better hope the amp's protection circuit works when the amp decides that it doesn't like it.
