What gauge power/ground wire will i need for a power acoustik A1800DB? I cannot find it anywhere. I am guessing 0/2ga. but it may be 0/1ga. If i buy 0/1 ga. will it fit or would i have to shave it? I am ordering my friend his wiring kit and i havnt seen the amp yet so im not sure what size wire to buy.

Yes, i've ownd the 1800, 2400, & 3000 and none of them are 0/1. I had to use reducers (0/1 to 4) on my 3000.
wow that is surprising. Overall a good amp? My friend got one for a 15" type r. I am pretty much doing everything for him. We got him this amp type-r i think its 2.5cuft @32hz. and a decent pioneer HU.

Their not bad amps. Good buget amps for the money. Alittle under rated, but still put out good power. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

thats odd on the 3000 as well because the 6 I owned all had 0/1 inputs for power and ground
Nope, the 2 I had were 4awg. I have a few pix here showing the 4awg going to them. Their not the best pix, but it was all I could find.
