Sweet thanks I'll try that. I think the manual is just poorly written and somewhat illogical in the way it explains things so maybe I missed a few things just because they weren't very straightforward.

Off topic, but am I wrong or does the CD S/N of the 880 (105db) surpass everything else in the Pioneer line including the 980/9800. When I purchased it I thought it was about 94, but was pleasantly surprised when read that it was 105. I'm pretty sure that the entire rest of the line is 94 or lower. Anyways, not bad for a $300 player that does so many things.

I lived downtown Eugene in the middle of hippie hell. They HATED me. I had a 70 nova drag car with a 427 in it. Ran 10.50s with open headers. I would pull it onto the street and do huge burn outs and just piss everyone off. they would call the cops if I left my trailer on the street and try to get it towed, lol
