P.O Boxes?

hi guys. not sure if this is the right place, but i wanted to get some opinions on this. i had a buyer for some equipment, but he's in the army and has a P.O Box address and i have been reading elsewhere that some people dont like shipping to P.O Boxes. i was just wondering why and is there any diference from shipping to just a normal home address?? i dont want there to be a problem in the guy not getting his stuff. oh, and im sending it outside of the U.S.

The main reason why people dont like to ship to p.o boxes is it gives one more way for the guy to rip you off when u have no idea where he actually lives at.

As i recall someone in the army has their own box but it isnt a p.o box.. I'd look into that.. could be a scammer its pretty easy to claim yer in the army...

Yes. APO AP, APO AE something like that. Ask for the full address. He should receive his stuff, unless the army loses it. I have purchased plenty of stuff while I was outside the US and got it fine. Also ask where he is stationed.

/\i concur that; i live in an army barracks. must also add that the speed at which he receives it is dependent on the mail clerks. i've ordered stuff that sat in the mail room for a week before i was notified. online tracking can provide a peace of mind with expensive stuff.

i have a po box and it sucks. anybody can get one so a scammer can use it and no way to track them. it sucks because it's a pain in the *** to receive packages.
