i've narrowed down my choices to these...

Rainbow CMX 265 Kicks

Oz Audio Matrix Elite 180CS $300 (price almost seems too good?)

anyway i've heard great things about both... but never heard either in person

a huge plus for 6spdcoupe is he's like the next town over from me plus i rather give the business to him than some online company. if the difference is hardly noticeable or if both will exceed my expectations, then the Rainbows will be my choice

Out of those two I like the Rainbow, but I like metal tweeters. But that's a lot of money for a component set with only a steel basket, not cast aluminum.

you should try to listen to the CDt ES Eurosport series, they have tons of midbass, very detailed mids and the silk tweeters are lovely. you can crank the volume full blast and they still stay smooth yet very detailed. they can be had for $300 as well.

But those Oz's are look pretty dam good as well.

There are too many speakers to chose from!! hahaha

imo, cdt lack midbass. my hd's dont have no where near as much midbass as id like.

i wish i went with the rainbows of some type. prob germs. and i wish i went with 2 ways.

I would pick the OZ 180CS if I could get them cheaper. The mid is pretty awsome and the tweeters are still sound good. However, I would pick the Rainbow tweeter over the OZ though. If they are close in price I would probably go with the Rainbow's.

yea i've made my decision im def gonna go through 6spdcoupe - and almost most def going with the rainbows - now im just debating if i should settle for the cmx kicks or move up on the rainbow line =)

i used to have memphis mclass speakers and they werent bad - and as long as either of them (and im sure both are) sound better i would be happy
