Voltage was low on my planet audio amp and wasn't very aware. I believe it over heated so i opened it up to check it out and the fets looked fine but one transistor had its legs burned off but i don't know what part it is to identify and replace it. I have a picture can anyone tell me what it is to replace it?

Looks like a thermistor or temp sensor.when it gets hot the resistance changes and shuts your amp down. If its faulty or if its still too warm your amp wont turn on again until it either cools down or is replaced. I doubt that is your issue though. Never really seen one of those things just fail unless there was another issue.

what kind of amp is it? somebody that fixes amps on here might have a schematic for your particular amp. I would think they would be cool enough to tell ya what part to look for. Just keep in mind that may not be your entire issue. I'm not sure if these things are supposed to increase or decrease resistance as the temp changes.I would guess that they increase resistance to the point where the shutdown the turn on circuit in the amp however i only dabble in amp repair and haven't ever had the chance to troubleshoot one of those things.
