Over Powered Subs

I have two Pheonix gold TI10D titanium subs and im getting a Brutas BX1500D in the mail within a couple days, the subs are rated at 500 wats rms each, but i have them wired at 1 ohm and teh brutas puts out 1500 rms with a 1 ohm load. What would be the best way to use this amp without blowing my subs. could i turn the gain down on my amp or could that damage the subs. please help im not a newb but i just want to get some opinions :thumbsupw

Amp: BX1500D (get it in 2 days)

Subs: Phoenix Gold TI10D dual 2 ohm wired to 1 ohm

mids/highs: pioneer 4x6's X 4

Ok thanks man so if i set my gain to match the desired output voltage i wont blow my subs? i think i got it i just wanna make sure. oh yeah just want ur opinion how loud do u think my bassw will be.

Thanks alot Jmac thanks for the fast replys too. do u think it will be loud though like i dont care about exact numbers but should it be loud for daily driving.
