why not just get direct deposit? when i wake up to go to work on friday, right when the bank opens my check is already in my account and i have access to the funds. no bs waiting in any lines, i don't even need to drive to the bank. about the overdrafts...learn to balance a checkbook. if you went into the negative you ****ed up your numbers somewhere plain and simple. that or you not even logging in all your tranactions at all and just guessing what you have. aside from that tho, i'd say join a credit union, they will be more forgiving than a bank ever will with stuff like that. that and you get better interest rates on credit cards and personal loans when you need them. just better service all around.

either learn how to count and keep a check book, or setup ur account online and be able to check it. my online account shows everything whether its cleared yet or not so i know exactly at all times how much money i have.

Yeah, I keep tabs of everything in my banks, from my check book to my online banking. Is really not that hard to do.

Then again, I always have over 1000 dollars in my 2 checking accounts. Now my savings accounts, I am not posting.

He's right , If u keep track of ur banking and transactions .U will be fine. I feel bad for u but i've had over 160 sumthing in overages .If u talk to You're bank they might decrese some of the charges.

i guess im lucky. my bank (Arkansas federal credit union)

just refuses any purchases. got a notice from netflix last night saying my card was refused... i DID get an overdraft fee long ago... but i've had AFCU for 2 years now and only 1 overdraft when in any other bank i would have had about 20... lol..... no worries here.

If you actually recorded your transactions, you would KNOW how much you had at all times regardless of if the charges are caught up at the bank. If you record them, you know exactly how much you have at all times.

ya FUX overdraft fees but wat i do is wen i deposit money and say i deposit 150bux ill put i deposited 155 or 157. and honestly 70% of the time it goes thru. once in a while they catch it and just adjust it thats it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif so hey why not give it a shot i always do it LOL i musta gotten back almost 300dollars back from ****in overdraft fees but im gettin it all back slowly but surely!!!!! haha

i wrote a check for 4$ for a pack of cigs at one gas station cause they're cheaper there then go to a diff one and wrote a check for 8$ for pop and superglue, ended up costing me 115$. depositing into savings instead of checkings on accident ftmfl. and bank wouldn't cover a 4$ or 8$ check was **** gay as well.

Overdraft protection ftw, or just having money in the bank ftw. I have to admit I have been there once, never again though cause it hurts.
