Other hobbies

I have been wanting to get into archery for soooo long. What would be the best way to get into it? I'm about to move into a house so I would have room outside to practice and whatnot, should I just buy a decent bow and try to self-teach with the internet or what?
Well, would you be doing it as recreational/target shooting or eventually get into hunting?

Just recreational/target shooting, I'm not really into hunting.
Same here. Well, it depends on the type of person you are. If you are looking to get something that will automatically set you up for the perfect shot every time, then I would look into a either a compound bow or a competition recurve bow. If you are like me, you might want something a little more traditional and actually takes practice and aim to hit the target repeatedly like a self bow or long bow.

Also depends on your budget. I'm gonna pm you with other details.

Music is something I couldn't live without and the audio seems to help me drive that concept home. Guns (including customization), Beer Pong (NBPA!!!!), going tubing down the river, fishing, dove hunting (only type of hunting I've done other than deer hunting which I plan on getting into more this year), MW3, actually enjoy doing custom installation and stuff ON MY TRUCK, @Louisiana_CRX, @Spider Monkey, hmm guess that's all for now.

My most prominent interests would be craft beers, and cigars. Been into that stuff since I was about 15 or 16. I love to get out and ride ATVs or dirtbikes whenever I can, which isn't often. Having a little fun driving around in my crumby car. I'm big into MMA and Jiu-jitsu as well. Eating a lot... But yea, most my time goes into work, beer, cigars, and car audio.
Brick breaking is fun as well. lol

I just got a DPMS Panter that I'm currently in love with. Also got my hands around a Bushmaster Bullpup last week (ugliest gun evvarr)!!!
OHH, add TANNERITE TO THAT LIST!!!!! Yupp. Shiz be badazs yo.
i have a dpms too and a windham weaponry, i like the windham more but both very nice.

Trade me some audios or something for some nice BUIS's!
lol if you would have said that about 3 months ago i would have but the dpms has a red dot and the windham has an acog i was looking at some irons when i first got the dpms but found a deal on the red dot

Well I have a red-dot and like it but I'm an iron sights kind of guy. Always have been. Now when I'm long range shooting I will go to the scope but I TRY to keep anything around 100 yards in between the iron sights.

I've had my eye on the Troy Industries Diamond series flip-up sights. I can't make my mind up as to whether or not I'd 100% trust the Mapgul MPBUIS since they're polymer but tell me I'm wrong and I might find out.
