This is a fast computer. The Duron is also very easily overclocked, if you would like I could do it for you before I ship it out, should be able to reach 1.5Ghz, though I have never done it on that specific chip. I am looking for $400 Shipped W/O monitor. That is without any of the components with prices next to them. Shipping for Monitor will be expensive, so you will need to pay that. I am also negotiable on the price, Don't low-ball me and offer 50 bucks, but every offer is worth a shot.

I'll help you out. That computer is pretty decently fast... it will be much faster than a 2-3 yr old HP, compaq, or dell.

Its a pretty solid deal... if I had anything worthwhile to trade, I would, and then sell the computer to someone else and make a profit.

Thank You....

good deal ....... why do u have 512mg of ram on a 1.3ghz comp? what speed is the RAM? if someone buys this and slaps in an XP series CPU it would be hella sweet.

wait .... right around 1.3ghz is when AMD switched sockets isnt it? i forget :-\

anyways, bump for a computar g33k ..... kekles!!!11one

I don't mean to be a hard *** but I wouldn't call that thing "fast."

I don't think it could run some of the newer games out. It would be a great internet computer if it had DSL or a cable modem.

As someone who builds and sells computers as a source of income while in school, this computer is plenty fast. I have a beast of a computer that I use for CAD work, and then a 1.4ghz Thunderbird (same socket, just different bus) too play games...it runs any game I have ever tried to play, and never bogs down.

I really forget what speed the ram is, i just know its DDR, if you wanna know why i have so much its because I do a lot of video editing and image editing. I also had a RAID array in it, but took it out for my new computer. Also it is socket A, the exact same as the new T-birds that are out now. So for about 100 bucks you could get an XP 2500+ which overclocks like mad and is fast. I had no problems running games with that computer. Granted it probably can't run Halo (Requires a rediculous computer) or Halflife 2 when it comes out. But with a new video card it would be fast enough, games are usually dependent on the graphics card, not the cpu.
