osama's tape

You know we (I) had this same exact debate 2-3 years ago (whenever the war started) all the way up through the Kerry election on this forum. What I find is ironic is that when I argued against the war almost everyone else on this forum was for it. So now that things aren't going quite so well people come on here and blast the President. F U and your pusssy comments now. When the war started and the election was going on where were you? When it came time to vote against this prick, did you? It's easy to criticize the President now and say geez we shouldn't have done that. But you asswholes weren't around when it came time to actually make a differnence. After the election I actually stopped caring and become much less passionate about this isssue because my generation didn't "Rock the vote" or didn't "vote or die", they stayed at home and watched South Park. So before you start spewing anti-war comments on here, maybe you should man up and realize what you could have done.

Asswholes!
Which generation would that be? For various reasons my driver's license still shows my parents' address and as a result my voter registration information requires that I vote at the same polling location that my folks do.

My dad believes that it is not only a right of every American at or above age 18 to vote but it is also a responsibility to take part in the democratic process. (agree with this or don't - but it is how I was raised)

Since our voter registration requires we vote at the same location all Dad has to do is look to see if my signature is above my name when he goes to sign for his (me, my mom, Dad, and my dad's mom are all next to each other on the voter rolls). If my signature isn't there to indicate that I have been there to vote I will quickly get a call once he has placed his vote(s) to ask why I haven't yet. For some of us voting isn't an option! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Edit: for the record I voted for Bush twice - and proudly so. For all those crowing about the 'lies' regarding WMDs....where were all of you when Bill Clinton was telling the American public the same thing during his tenure at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue? We know Saddam had 'em - he USED them...against his own people. What in the world makes you think if he would use chemical and biological weaponry against his own populace that he would hesitate for a single moment to use them against the "infidels" of the West?!?

theres a bit of a difference between lying about getting your knob polished by a porky intern, and lying to invade a country and start a war, killing thousands of people (hey didnt i just hear those 4 words someplace?)

also do you know where saddam got those chemical weapons he used on his own people in the 80's? we gave them to him to use against iran. the US didnt give a shit about what he used them for back then. if he wanted to terrorize the united states, he had over 10 years since the gulf war to do so.

majority of the 9/11 terrorists came from Saudi Arabia.....yet we go to Afghanistan, why? To get Bin Laden.....then we go to Iraq, why, is Bin Laden there? No....but Saddam is. We get Saddam....now we're there to share democracy with people...trouble is many there dont want it. Whats our endgame?

Question...are we planning to do this to every country that has a dictator or has terrorists?

Bin ladins home is saudi. He was kicked out and he joined with the taliban in afganistan...

Also, IIRC bin laden had ties with sadam...sadam was also guilt of genocide //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I thought the 9/11 commission decided that there was no connection between Iraq and Osama Bin Laden.

That is why I said IIFC (if I rememer correctly) Do a search and let us know.

It looks like Bin Laden attempted to get support from Saddam, as he did with other Islamic nations, but Saddam never acted on it. Apparently, Bin Laden had previously supported anti-Saddam Islamists in Iraq, but then stopped in the earlier 1990s.

I didn't really know either, so I guess I learned something new today...

Dude, your source is from a proggresive online commentary, if thats the best you have, go punch yourself in the dick.
Ok, just for the sake of argumnet lets say it is a progressive site. Can you prove the claims that are in there wrong?? NO sir you can NOT.

If he were going to lie about the WMD's, wouldnt he have at least planted them?Don't try to argue against that, you'll only ended making more of an *** of yourself.
The way you keep flying off the handle in Bush's defense I would say you were the one making an *** of yourself.

Do you think just because we didn't find them, that he/everyone in the government lied about it?
NO, the whole gov't didn't lie about it..........just Bush and his regime.

And stop calling me a neo-con, you sound like a raving hippie dyke.
Then stop acting like one.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

YOU need to STFU. I vote every fvcking election. I was anti war and anti Bush every election. Don't make general statements to people like that. If you wanna call someone out thats fine but dont' point your self-righteous finger at eveyone as if NO ONE on this forum voted and tried to make the difference.
