Which generation would that be? For various reasons my driver's license still shows my parents' address and as a result my voter registration information requires that I vote at the same polling location that my folks do. My dad believes that it is not only a right of every American at or above age 18 to vote but it is also a responsibility to take part in the democratic process. (agree with this or don't - but it is how I was raised) Since our voter registration requires we vote at the same location all Dad has to do is look to see if my signature is above my name when he goes to sign for his (me, my mom, Dad, and my dad's mom are all next to each other on the voter rolls). If my signature isn't there to indicate that I have been there to vote I will quickly get a call once he has placed his vote(s) to ask why I haven't yet. For some of us voting isn't an option! Edit: for the record I voted for Bush twice - and proudly so. For all those crowing about the 'lies' regarding WMDs....where were all of you when Bill Clinton was telling the American public the same thing during his tenure at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue? We know Saddam had 'em - he USED them...against his own people. What in the world makes you think if he would use chemical and biological weaponry against his own populace that he would hesitate for a single moment to use them against the "infidels" of the West?!?
