Orion HP 12" D4 help

hey guys, i have 2 orion HP 12" subs, what size box should i make for them, specs say 2 cubes @ 40 hz per sub, does any1 have any experience with these subs, can i get away with 1.5 - 2 cubes @ 32-34 hz per sub, or 4 cubes @ 32-34 or whats the best option for them? Thanks

I would use at least 4 cubic feet and tune to 34Hz.

A little smaller if you have tons of power and little bigger if they are slightly underpowered.
