okay I have 2 dc xl 18's on 2 brz2400's it hits pretty hard but I want more, would 4 15inch orion hcca be a good choice? on about 8k, will it get the job done on louder and alot more powerful then my current system and will sq be better?

Whats your box design look like? I find it kind of hard to believe you aren't satisfied with 2 XL's lol

lol my box was build by one of the best box builders around hear its a solid box 1.5mdf, fiberglassed. Im doing over 150's and im tuned to 34.7 hz the box is subs up port up but it has worked very well

make sure you have enough cf for the box and enough room for the subs to breath to the front of the cabin. adding more subs dosent always mean louder...

those HCCA's can get loud bro. its hard to say which will be louder.

yea its in my 03 tahoe the box is 13.08 cubic ft after displacement for the dc's so there getting plenty of air, I think I might just do the 4 15 hcca's on a dc12k and see how that goes

hmm u got me thinking now lol 4 15 xl's on a dc 12k would be hitting very hard lol but i dont even kno if i would see a gain over the 2 18's i like the dc's but i wanna try something new i think......ivv never had orions or dd subs so im trying to figure out a solid 4 15's setup for my next system in my new truck

XLs or BTLs.. That all I would do. My buddy has a 12K on 2 XL 18s tuned low in a old 4 runner and it twist the side mirrors around backwards

yea we hooked up my buddies 12k to my subs and they where loud and all, but the thing that ***** is I can only play them for a few mins before they blow. have to be easy on them with the bass knob and stuff thats the only thing that ***** I want a loud system I can play for long periods of time, ivv blown my xl's 3 times due to me wanting to play them so long on a 9k. thank god its only 150$ to recone lol. Thats why if run 4 subs maybe it will be better but it will be tough to fine a woofer that can handle 3k rms for 20mins stright of beating on it with lows and stuff.
