Orion H2 Powerhandling

I currently have an Orion H2 15" in a 2.25 net cubic foot box tuned to 33 hz w/28 in^2 port area. I'm building a box that will be 5 net cubic feet tuned to 33 hz w/75 in^2 port area. I've read that the powerhandling decreases when you use bigger boxes. I'm using an orion 1200 d amplifier right now and the sub is rated at 2000 watts RMS at 2.25 cubic feet at their website. If I use 5 cubic feet, how much lower would the powerhandling be-1800 watts RMS or something like that??

I'm gonna get a new amp so I gotta find the right wattage to match the sub.

I'm selling the 1200d to my brother for his 1st system and i'm gonna get somethin 1800-2000 watts at 1 ohm depending on how much the powerhandling goes down with the box.

I know a few competitors that ran 4 1200D's per H2, but keep in mind that was just for SPL burps, 1200 - 1500 is plenty, but if you want you can step up to 2k or 2.5k, as long as your careful

Power handleing goes down but its minimal, and its easy-er for the sub to reach its X-max but the smaller the box the more power the sub can take. what it does is acts like a stiffer suspention on the sub
