Alright. I have had so many people tell me tons of different things about building this enclosure. So I figured I should probably just follow Orion's specs although I modified the port a little bit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif. Here are the specs:
BOX
-tuned to 28hz
-1518 cubic inches (.88 cubic feet) total
-minus the port and subwoofer, plus the 1.5 inch thick baffle space equals .75 cubic feet
PORT
-3 inch diameter
-30 inches long
DIMENSIONS (air space)
20.5" wide
7" deep
10.5" tall
This is what I want it to look like (the picture is not drawn to proportion //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif)
The sub and amp will face the back seat in my blazer. I will be able to fold the seat down and see the equipment when ever I want //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif. With this design I can through all my gear in the back and not worry about hitting the sub or amp. What do you guys think? Do you think sq will **** with the sub firing into the back seat? The port will have 7 inches of clearance from the end to the side of the blazer, is that enough for such a long port? THANKS very much guys //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif .
