How does this set-up sound? Subs fg on Sides of Trunk

How do these setups sound?

are they Style vs Performance??

Only SEEN these setups, never HEARD them.

How would they sound compared to firing straight back out of the trunk?

I've never heard anyone say they didn't do their job. The only setup like that I've personally heard was the Mach 1000 audio system you could get in '02-'04 Mustangs. Sounded fine to me.

No cancellation problems??

Yeah inside. It was a factory system so it is far from the best thing out there. But as far as I could tell the substage was ok.

I have heard them, one of my guys has his intrepid done like that and there was no cancelation issues

Question for you and any1 else....

How would you compare it to a setup with the sub firing towards the trunk?

Thats a very open question that could have many different results. If you want a generalization than I would say that having the subs face the rear of the vehicle is louder, but doesnt nessasarily sound as good

i had a sentra spec-v with an enclosure like that,but for 1 12"sub.it sounded great,i was really surprised.still had all my trunk space too!!

Just not sure if i want to experiment with all that fiberglass....

Yea that's basically what i'm trying to do, save the trunk. Not that i think i'll really need it.

But as of right now, for looks, i'm thinking i could get better looks facing out the rear.

Might end up building both. Log coming soooon!

yeah if trunk space is more important than getting the absolute most outta ur subs then i think it would be fine...
