*edit* Need a design by tommorrow....more info at bottom of page...have 5.50 in paypal...(it's just a simple slot port so shouldn't be too much of a challenge)

I am looking for some reccomendations for my sub box. Know i'm going ported probably 30-35hz and somewhere around 3 ft^3.....what would you guys reccomend...Oh it can only be like 16.5 inches tall....

what kind of vehicle? what are your other max demensions?

its a 96 camry....would like no more than 18 inches deep...width can go up to 36 ish thats all guesstimates though i'll actually measure tommorrow...

I'm gonna keep the h2...and need some enclosure designs....you said you'd do it for 5.50 (what i have in paypal lol). Here's what i need.

Approx. 2.75 cu ft (not including port....)

tuning = 33 hz

Max dimensions= H=16 (preferably 15.5 on the outside...)

Width= 38 inches (use the full 38)

depth = whatever it needs to be....

Thats got all the specs and reccomendations and stuff....i've got the 15.2 and used the 1500 watt vented reccomendations. if you think i should change anything on the box that would sifnificantly improve it...tell me. The only other thing i want to make sure of is the driver itself has enough clearence on the back (it might get close to the port wall). LMK what you can do, thx.

here's what i came up with...

total box vol.: 3.32cu'

port area: 28sq"

port length: 26.5"

freq. 33Hz

cut sheet

box:

top/bottom: 11.25 x 36.6

front/back: 15.5 x 38

sides: 11.25 x 14

port:

14 x 9.25 (2)

14 x 4.25 (1)

Lol i used your design trixter ( so i will get yah 5 bux...) and it wasn't tall enough for the sub because the **** thing is 16 inches on the outside....i had to recut the whole thing and as a result there is more port area....that should lower tuning right????

umm...well if you made to box taller, then it has more internal volume which would lower the freq. you added more port area and kept the length the same which raises the freq. put the two together and you should be about where you were originally...let me check and get back to you real quick....

KK, I'll give yah that 5 dolla i have in paypal....give me yah PP email...yah i made it 16.5 inches tall externally (and it doesn't clear my 6x9's conviently enough but still sit far enough back in my trunck that it should be fine...)
