orion amp repair

does anyone know where i can get a orion 250g4 amp fixed, really not interested in sending back to orion, since someone told me that they use crappy parts now, not like they use to. or is that bad info i got?

Orion now is not the same Orion that built that amp. Last I heard they won't touch the older amps anymore.

Do you know what is wrong with the amp?

i have no idea, what could be wrong. i hooked it up. power/grnd/remote, no light. board doesn't seem to be toasted, i am gonna get my meter out, and trace some items. but it seems to be true, since orion doesn't make the older amps, they will not touch them. only the amps put out by the new owners. so if i don't come up with anything myself, guess i might take it to someone who works on old school quality amps. the board doesn't seem that complicated.

As long as the traces on the board are not damaged, the amp can be made good as new by a competent repair tech.

i know what you mean, i wish i had a scope, though i used it back in college, haven't found enough items to fix to justify in getting one.
