I did an install and was given an Orion 8002 and 4004. There are in mint condition and in working order. I've never used these amps, are they any good? I have type x componets and mid bass drivers for front stage. I have an mrv-f345 to power them with. My question is the orion amps would look great together for an install but is the 4004 going to do as good as job as the Alpine?

sold my 8002 to a guy local...he smoked it not 2 months later and junked it...sigh //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

solid amps, had some power

What are you using it for? If you are powering a sub, yeah the 8004 would be nice. But if you are just running front speakers then the 4004 is fine. It does 200 watts x 2 at 4 ohm, plenty for a front stage.

I'm going to use the 8002 for sub. You can bi-amp the type x componets so i planned on running 2 channels to the 5 1/4's and the 6 1/2 mid bass drivers and 2 ch. to the tweets. Unless bridging the componets and mid bass drivers together would be better?

****, i need a Orion 8002

If you decide you want to sell it,let me know!!

Or we can trade my orion 6002 + some Cash$$[/b]
