I'm looking at a Orion 600D which puts out 200x1 @ 4ohms 400x1@ 2ohms and 600x1 @ 1ohm. they say that it'll hit 1200 watts at full power. I'll be using it to run 2 Boston G512Rs dual 4ohm which are rated at 450 watts RMS each. My question is first, is this a good quality amp and secondly will it provide enough clean power to my subs

i personally love orion and yes i think that it will work pretty well in your case.

Now the main thing is installation for both the subs and amp.

you need to make sure that your ohms match and everything is all good tehre. Then installation on the subs... Proper box either ported or non> make it close to optimum volume as possible and throw some installation in teh box too.

Oh and dont forget to sound deaden

hope this helps

I have had a pair of Orion 1200ds, and currently own a Orion 4002 and 8002. The 600d will do its rated 600w at 1 ohm easy and would be a good match with your Bostons. Just wire the DVCs in parallel then wire the speakers in parallel themselves and your good to go.
