Ok I am almost done running the wire for my 2500d but before I finish I wanted to ask you guys for suggestions.

Ok I have a second battery in my trunk and I am going to run the power and ground from the rear battery to the amp.

I have come to 3 different ways to do it and am not sure what is the best one.

Here are three pics can you guys tell me what one to use.

-For Positive-

Use #1

-For Negative-

none of them. Use 1/0 for ground otherwise it is pointless to use it for power, you can use reducers to run the 1/0 into the amp. or use very minimal 4ga into an unfused distro blcok then run 1/0 to the battery.

ok so use a unfused distro for the ground?

1/0 gage in 2x 4 gage outs?

So which one from the 2 of the following

You saying that you cant ground the amps directly to the battery?
No. Find a spot not too far from the amp, that's metal, the car's chasis. Buff or scratch any paint in the way and ground it with 0 gauge. Then run 0 gauge to the distro block and from the block run two sets of 4 gauge wires to the amp.

I have 2

That is why in the pics it say length of the wire and in the first post i said that was the battery in the trunk.

You could but if you could bring it within 3 ft of the amp. Try to bring it as close as possible... I was assuming that your connecting it to your starter battery.
How many batteries do you have?
you can connect the amp to the battery, that's the best way to do it IMO.

Ok for ground what one do I use

The 2 runs of 1/0 gage to the distro or will the single run to the distro be ok?

And that is the shortest i can make the wires.

Battery is in the back corner of the trunk and amp is right behind the seat.
