not sure how it performs but I have heard great things about those Orions....

2. havent heard about it, if it does

3. probably not if you want the full potential out of it, but it would work until you can upgrade your electrical system

4. 1/0 (look at http://www.bcae1.com to teach you about wire length, and other audio stuff)

5. Yeah. Refurbs are tested to make sure they are in working order. Good way to save money.
