hmm my problem came from the cat 5 cable it got jammed into the car door to many times lol, did your sensor come with numbers on it?

Well I still don't see what is so great about the Orion.

First off, if you are wiring down to .5 ohms, chances are you could wire the same subs to 2 ohms. And there are other amps out that, that I bet would hit even higher wired to 2 ohms, that fall in the same price range. So from that standpoint the Orion doesn't seem to have a leg up on other amps.

And as far as wiring low, such as doing .175 burps and such, I would like to see some numbers on that. That is what the 20.1 is really made for;)

The orions I had were def pretty bulletproof at low ohms, one 1/4 ohm running 4-12"s //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif, two at .35 a piece running 2 DD's all worked good.

Yeah, they are very good amps. I just think a .175 burp test would be nice. I am just curious for myself. But either way both amps are great. The 20.1 has proven time and time again that it is a solid amp, and that is performs great for SPL competitors. And the 2500d deff. does put out a ton of power for a cheaper priced amp.

Either way, if you are looking for a nice amp for SPL, they are both good choices.

shut your face tobias

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif i still dont favor the orions. theres sometin up with tommy's meter. and i didnt buy the 20.1's to run @ .5....thats just my only option besides strapping right now...all new recone kits comin soon...

whatta u think that most watts you could push out of a IA 20.1 before we see the majik smoke
There is no telling. But you need to be more specific than that. Do you mean the max amount of power it will put out for a burp before smoking? Or the max amount of power that it will run at daily before smoking. I am sure there would be a big difference.

but i mean who buys a amp to run @.0000000001 ohms. cmon, test @ 1ohm or .5ohm whats loudest wins. simple. i myself dont wanna have to wire a amp to

.0001 juss to get it to so called "come alive". its a great amp and im sure there are some people who get a boner to be able to wire a amp below .25 but not me. .5 daily and .25 for burps is all i need. thats where i want my amp 2 come alive. below that is pointless to me, u start to run into issues, like not be stable, blowing fuses, etc

joe aslong as they work for ya im happy, juss want ya to wang buddy. but i got a extra ticket for ya, dont let ricardo take ya seat on the wagon, lol

Ive seen so many amps done this way over the years. Especially ones that had the Molex plugs and a couple others

Yes, they do. As for the Taramps remote control, it is for use with the EQ they sell, not as a remote bass knob. They are not very sophisticated...
