Yep, IA is 1800@ 1 ohm. Go ahead and put the IA down to .2 ohms and do same to Orion, watch the magic smoke, hell the magic fire appear form the Orion.
the Orions took a .25ohm load nominal a couple of times last season BTW //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif no magic smoke but drew tons of current. Orions are strong amps, but i dont miss mine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I was louder with 1 orion 2500d wired to .375ohms nominal than 2 orions wired to .75ohms nominal a piece. Its too bad orion didnt make them strappable with there new hcca series //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

i'll be droppint he ohm load soon on em....gonna order me up some new recone kits...dual .7's (really dual 1's)....

.25 ohm a piece should do the 20.1's good //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I think something is seriously up with your meter Tommy...according to the results the 4 15's are .2 db's louder than my 2 15's on 1 orion...and i'll just say its an assload louder than the 2 15's were. i'll find out @ the show tomorrow...

time to go build legos and wait for chris //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I did some real quick testing in my truck, and its really inconclusive at this point.

It does seem about at least 1 dB down as far as I can tell. Not really sure why that is though. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

That's what I told him to do many times. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

The only thing he has to worry about is running on the fuses, but I don't think that will be a problem at all.
