one is an orion 1200D and the other is an orion 2500D so you are talking 1200 watt difference

Either you are looking at peak power, or you are looking at the wrong specs.

my bad they are dual 4 ohm voice coil

you can wire them to 2.67 ohms. best bet is too look into a crossfire vr2000D
