Im about to get my hands on 2 10" w6's DVC 4 ohm, and i was just wondering if running these 2 with a Orion 2500d amp at 4 ohms would be safe? Amp only puts out 1200 at 4 ohms....but the w6's rms is 400 soooo im wondering if they could handle running with the extra 200 watts or should i do the gain setting tutorial and just back off the volts a little bit?

they'll be fine

do the gain setting tutorial anyways.

if i was you id hook em up @ 1 ohm.

just kidding.
Im onlyyyy guessing, but i dont think these subs would like this amp at 1 ohm //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif haha.

you replacing the mt?
Well i had it in my old yukon and i finally got a new ride (2005 Escalade) and it has the 3rd row seats in it. I really like having the extra seats and im ready for a sound quality setup so ya i think i may get rid of it pretty soon. Have 1 w6's being shipped to me right now, i just need to find the 2nd one =X
