orion 2500d or kicker 2500.1

which do you think

each amp will have to run at 1.4ohms, so that puts the kicker even further ahead in power since they do power at 2ohms, but i can get 2 2500d's for 800$, but im going to spend around 1400ish for 2 2500.1s if i could some used ones it would be less, but cant find any

so which would you do?

2 used 2500d, dont run them at full potential, but almost half the price

2 kicker 2500.1, extra power, would be new, more $$$

or i might try to get 4 of the kicker SX 1250.1s

The Orion's are a better buy for the money, but you know that the Kicker's would push more at 2 ohms than the Orion's would, plus Kicker is much better quality. With the $500-600 difference in price though, I would go for the Orions.

i say get the ZX2500.1 if ya got the cash says it's min impediance is 2 ohms but many ppl on here wire it to 1 ohm and say they dont got ne probs wit it at all

I would vote the Orion, the 2500D would last longer and for 600 less than the kickers, I vote hands down 2500D, although they really shine at below 1 ohm operation, they are still great amps.

I'm partial to the Kicker amps, but then again I have a ZX850.4 and it is so friggin awesome. I probably have a biased opinion.
