Ordering wiring, need help with fuses selection.

I'm ordering the wiring for my Toyota Paseo in the next day or two. It's a small 2 door car, this is what I've come up with. I will order everything from KnuKnonceptz, but have a few questions about which size fuses to get.

Just an an overview, I'm going to be run two amps. One is a 2 channel that will make 70rms at 4 ohms. The other is for my sub, which makes 750 at 2ohms.

I plan to run 18ft of 0g KCA (copper clad aluminum) wire to a distro block in the trunk. Then splits to one 4g wire that runs to the sub amp and one 8g wire that will go to the 2 channel. I will get 5ft of each, then cut it in half so I have 2.5ft of wire to use as power and ground.

I'm not sure what size fuses to get though.

For the inline fuse I'll get the 250A fuse since that is what the KCA 0g is rated at.

As for the distro block fuses I'm stumped. I hear I take the power I run and divide by 13.

So for the 8g I'll get a 30A fuse and for the 4g I'll get a 50 or 60A fuse. I'm not sure.

What would you guys suggest?

they r restocking as of tomorrow. it's either 4g or the KCA 0g. I can't afford the 0g ofc plus it would kind of be an overkill, wouldn't it?

After reading some threads about CCA over on diyma & such I just wouldn't use it, but I'm sure some think it's fine. I can tell ya that 4 ga OFC would be fine for what you wanna run. Totally your call though & I have no actual exp w CCA.

I mean originally I wanted the 4g but everyone told me KCA.

the 4g is cheaper too. who else here would suggest the 4g over the KCA?

that would require a 120A fuse right?

as in KCA 0g and ofc 4g are basically the same? in that case I'll run the 4g ofc unless anyone can think of a good reason not too. and I'll only be pushing like 900rms.

does anyone have recommendations for the fuses at the distro block?

thanks, yeah I was told to take the power the amp will produce and divide by 10. For the 2 channel it makes like 140 rms so thats like 10 something. Being the smallest fuse for that is 30 I'll go with that. As for the sub amp, 750 / 13 is like 57 something. So I was kind of in the middle on that one. I guess I'll go with 60 for that one to be safe. Would anyone else suggest 80, or another size in general?

Also, for the inline fuse on the 4g. Should I get 120A or 150A?

okay so im going to get...

-120A for 4g main power wire

-30A for the 8g at the distro

-80A for the 4g at the distro

Anyone think the above should be different?

also, I want to buy some battery terminals. I'll be doing the big 3 in 4g also. What do you think of these stringer terminals? aside from the big 3, I just strip the stock battery wire and connect it in the 8g hole to make the connection, right?

Going to get two of these:

Stinger SPT53501 Chrome (2) 4 Gauge & (1) 8 Gauge Outputs Positive or Negative Battery Terminal - SPT53501

can you find a better terminal for the price?
