Ordering new wiring, need some help!

I'm going to be running an AQ2200D (2200W) and an Infinity 475a (300W) so around a total of 2500W. I'm going to pull out the old 4ga wiring and install 0/1ga. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

Ok, so I'm on the KnuKonceptz website and checking out their amp wiring kits. I see this 0/1ga kit here, KLM wiring and I'm wondering if this would do well for my application. Is CCA a good bet or should I stick to a copper wire like Stinger?

Also, what size fuse would I need on the power wire? The AQ has a fuse rated 200amps and the Infinity has two fuses @ 35ea, so something greater than 270? What would you all recommend?

Third question - would a 4ga ground be sufficient for the AQ? Otherwise I'm going to have to pop a 0/1ga to 4ga adapter on the ground wire as I'm already going to have to do with the power wire.

Thanks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

run your 1/0 from the battery to a distro block, with a fuse holder on the battery side, pop a 300 amp fuse in there,

off the distro block run a short length of 4 gauge to each of your amps,

With an individual fuse matched to each amp,

your aq will get a 200 amp,

and your comp amp will get whatever it requires, probably like an 50-80 amp

Ok cool, but shouldn't I match the power fuse to the max amperage of the wire?

the AQ2200 has 1/0 inputs..not 4 gauge.
Thanks for that I didn't know. I will still need a distro block that accepts 0/1 and outputs 0/1 AND 4ga, right? or Two 0/1s? Otherwise I would have to keep the existing 4ga for the small amp and run a new one alongside it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

kicker distro blocks have (1) 1/0 in and (1) 1/0 plus (4) 4 ga out //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

why not leave the 4 awg in to power your components and add an additional run of 1/0 for your sub amp?

I could do that, if I can spare the space //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

EDIT: I was gonna order the Knu 0/1 KLM kit tonight but they're out of stock //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I have a run of 1/0 and 4 gauge installed now. Had the 1/0 first and added an additional 4awg ground from battery to rear of vehicle. the grommet was already stretched from pulling the thick cable through before so it was like throwing a hotdog down a hallway

I'm thinking about doing that, it would be cheaper that way, not having to buy a distro block. Thanks for the suggestion //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

EDIT - BTW just ordered the Qs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
