ordering amp...need to know what kind i need

ive got an Alpine SWS 1023D in a sealed 1 cu.ft. box and im getting infinity speakers for the doors.. i still have the stock headunit in the car can i run an amp from that or do i have to upgrade that too... thanks for any suggestions

Yeah, with a LOC you should be able to keep your stock HU and hook up an amp for your subs. I was going to use a MTX REQ -5 LOC before I bought my Kenwood HU. It was going to be able to run a 4 Ch amp and a Mono amp.

you have a dual 2 ohm speaker so you can either run at 1ohm or at 4 ohms

so you can go with a mono or with at 2 channel amp bridged at 4ohms
