Ordering Amp install kit, asked me what kind of fuse. What to get?

Well ordering amp install kits from knukonceptz right now, and they ask me what kind of fuse to get along with the 1/0 guage amp kit, anywhere between 60A to 250A. what should i be looking for? This will be for a hifonics hercules, 2000WRMS @ 1ohm

if i just went with the biggest fuse they offer in the kit will that be okay heh? i know the goliath is reccomended at 500Amps, not sure about the hercules. Biggest they offer is a 250A

I would just go with the 250, because it is for protecting the wire. The amp fuses are for the amp. Correct me if I am wrong.

Usually people fuse to the total of all the fuses on the amp (there can be one or a combination of a few). They should just be right on the side by where you attach the power and ground wires.

Ding ding. The size of wire you are using determines fuse size, not the amplifiers.
