As the past owner of a Scout I can relate to the FJ //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
its awesome... did u get a blue one?
my friend just got a blue one this week used... it rattles a lot though - he has a 10" sealed and it gets annoying...
what are you putting in it?
i waited to get my last truck until i could just write a check for it. being a student i cant afford a car payment. i like the blue ones a lot, and the interior panels look badass in blue, but i wanted something that would never be outdated or get old. i felt like the blue would get old after a while. silver is easier to care after, still have to keep after it but wont have to chase swirls all the time. but blue definitly looks best inside.Hated them at first, but they seem to have grown on me.
I sat in one just for S&Gs and they have sweet interior.
Props for buying a brand new car.. and even more props for having it paid off right away.
almost, i am getting lowballed hardcore by some dude from manteca. it isnt sold yet but i have some people on the leash. So I take it the chevy is sold?
Sweeeeeeetness on the FJ.
You know what this means? You have no excuse for getting your lame-*** down here.
if she is, go to hayward or dublin toyota. at hayward toyota talk to JD. he can get you a great deal on one. roughly 500-1000 over invoice which is unheard of for a FJ. they are going for usually 1000 above msrp in our area.Let us know what you think of it when you get it. My wife is thinking about getting one for a daily driver. I've owned FJ40's and built a few Toyota based rock crawlers so the off road capability appeals to me. I know someone else who has one and she says the only thing that she doesn't like is the wipers.
the do have wide c-pillars, but like any car you adjust to it and learn where to look and what not.Im an ADI(installs accesories) for Toyota and GM and I actually did the 2 things you are getting a few weeks ago on a FJ. They are the easiest installations I think i have ever done in my life. I also installed a passanger arm rest, I thought it was a little odd that the drivers side has one, but not the passanger side?
Overall , I like em. Granted, ive only driven them around the lots and installed a few things on em, so I havent really been able to experience it, but the ONLY thing i didnt really like is there is a large blind spot in the passanger rear 1/4
