orange drop cords for sub wiring etc. (mini rant)

Just got back from the pull it yard and i noticed at least 4 cars that had orange power cords ran to the trunk for the power wires,ground etc. irritating on how much i see this crap.

anyone else ever come across this?

I've seen 14 gage Romex used for amp power .. wires wrapped around the battery terminals, no fuse. A fire waitin' to happen.

ouch... ive seen 10 gauge single strand for power and ground. about the worst though... any one of my noob friends i just send em to wallyworld for the $35 schoche 6 gauge kit. works great for low power systems... remote wire is like 22 ga, but not a big deal.
