What's involved with a 16v system?

I'm looking to get in Street Max 1-2 and I know I can have 1 battery, car off... My car does 12.7 or so when it's off... I was thinking of getting a Kinetik 2400 to throw under the hood, it'd be for daily and comp... only one battery.

There is really no rules in bass race.
